Phillips, Reid, Meeks
How much better would our defense have been had they stayed another year? The vacuum created by Justin Reid’s departure (especially) was gargantuan, especially when coupled with the injuries we’ve had at the position.
Adebo/Holder is arguably a better duo than Meeks/Holder, but given the prevalence of the nickel, the trio of Adebo/Meeks/Holder would have been much better than Adebo/Holder/Murphy.
And even though over time I think our defensive line will grow to be a strength, there is no question that having Harrison Phillips in there would have made it much better.
