Seems unlikely to me, although we do have a sample of N=1 with OP. Perhaps there are a few others in his shoes who would consider it, but I think most east-bayers would pick Cal before Stanford. After all, it's a lot easier to get to Cal from Oakland, and it's the flagship university for the state.
