The original Oakland name was Senors but was dropped before the first exhibition game against the Dallas Texans at Kezar. The Texans became the KC Chiefs. The NY Titans became the Jets, the Boston Patriots became New England and the Tennessee Titans were first known as the Houston Oilers.
