I say this every year. Every team has turnover and college football rosters are cycled through pretty quickly. Inexperienced players become key contributors every season.
This is of course true, but there are some years where you can be more confident about the players filling the departers shoes than others. For example, you can feel reasonably confident that, barring injury, Parkinson will be a big contributor at the tight end position. I think the guys at receiver have a lot of potential, but it is still hard to replace someone as productive as JJ Arcega-Whiteside (the first Stanford receiver to get 1000 yards receiving since Troy Walters and Deronie Pitts, and only the ninth in Stanford's history).
