At first, I told myself I wasn't old as long as (enter any name of successive Stanford football standouts here) was still playing.  Then...I told myself I wasn't old as long as as (enter any name of successive Stanford football standouts here) were simply still alive.  And today I read that -- like those wandering comets the sojourn in and back out of the solar system-- Genuine Realist has reappeared, visible low on the western horizon just after sunset...and to think I lived to see it.  We live in a time of wonders.  Welcome!  Glad to see you didn't perish while bringing the gospel to the heathen elsewhere.
