I guess I only just realized that, before this run of three, Stanford did not win a NC in women's swimming since 1997. Nearly 20 years! That surprised me given how strong we are traditionally in that sport. In that span, Georgia won it, like, 38 times.

Ella Easton. Four-time national champ in 400 IM. Wowzers. Is there a more grueling event in the program (I know it goes up to 800, but not in college)? And she won it all four years. That's gotta be one of the most amazing feats in the history of Stanford swimming. And she's the only person to do that. Ever.
