Golf course is kicking back today. Playing tough, more like R1 than R2. The Golf Channel will start their broadcast today at 1 pm pacific. But they will likely have reporting from the course (as well as lots of talking heads) during the pre-game show.

The focus today for the tv folks is the competition for the low individual, the medalist. Sierra Brooks from Florida leads right now at -4 after a stellar 6 under par 67 yesterday. Valenzuela is Stanford's low individual, 5 shots back in 6th place. Golf Channel will balance that with the race for the top 8.

* From 7 AM CDT this morning through Tuesday evening

* Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will develop into parts of east central Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas mainly this afternoon and evening. A secondary line of strong storms are
expected Tuesday morning and into the afternoon. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts possible.

* The ground remains saturated from Saturday`s storms. The additional rainfall amounts will likely lead to flash flooding, especially near low-lying areas and smaller creeks and streams. In addition, a few main stem rivers could also rise above flood depending on the areas that receive the heaviest rainfall.
