Stanford getting some help as Auburn, Northwestern and Purdue have posted some big numbers at the start of their 2nd 9. Hole #1 killed them.  Auburn +6, Purdue +5, Northwestern +9 on that hole alone.

Valenzuela rolls in a short birdie on 15 and Stanford's position in 6th gets even more solid with 3 holes remaining. Now 11 shots between Stanford and the 9th place team.

If someone told me we would be in this thing with Andrea +7 on the day I would think maybe they had one too many.
