Interesting, and nice thorough analysis.
I rather suspect you'd have found a different answer last year (and please don't actually do it) when we went from #15 to #1 at the final rankings. Though, at least with the bonus points I guess that worked out, as they list Stanford at 83.01 points (up from 45.77 in the penultimate rankings) to #2 Vanderbilt's 82.01.
I see that the ITA has a nice rankings archive, so it's easy to dig up a lot of stuff about previous years.
