No big deal, but we're currently in the lead by ourselves at -4 as a team, nearing the end of the front 9. Auburn is second at -1, and Cal is 3rd at even par. 8th place is +4 at the moment.
* Salinda is -3 through 5 (tied for the individual lead)
* Wu is E through 6 (3 birdies, a bogey, and a double)
* Snyder is +1 through 6
* Shimp is -2 through 7
* Tuleubayev is +2 through 8
But that brutal back 9 still looms, and the top 4 teams all started on the front 9....
Cal is in third place, but the Bears have little room for error, as their #4, Crampton, is +8 through 7. So, any mistake the other 4 make the rest of the day is likely to count.
Salinda birdies 6 to take the individual lead at -4, but Snyder doubles 7 and he's now the drop score at +3, so Stanford still leads at -4:
* Salinda is -4 through 6 (individual leader)
* Wu is E through 7 (3 birdies, a bogey, and a double)
* Snyder is +3 through 8
* Shimp is -2 through 8
* Tuleubayev is +2 through 9
Shimp bogeys 9 to drop to -1, but the team score of -3 is still good enough for a one-stroke lead over Auburn. Cal is in 3rd at -1, and 8th place is still +4.
Now tied with Auburn for second place (-1) behind Cal (-3); 8th place is +7:
* Salinda is -4 through 9 (leader)
* Wu is E through 9
* Snyder is +3 through 10
* Shimp is E through 11 (bogeyed 9 and 11)
* Tuleubayev is +3 through 11
Now tied with Auburn for first place (-2) as a Cal triple bogey on 10 drops them to even par, and Wu birdies 10 to get under par for the first time today (despite it being his fourth birdie of the round); 8th place is +7.
