Salinda now just Even, Wu +1 and Shimp +2. Daluet has now made a few birdies dropping to 6 over and Menon is now 5 over, so 8 over on the day. Still tied for 2, but gap between us and 8 has shrunk a bit. Need some birdies on the last few holes.
Salinda -4 on the first 5 holes is keeping us in the same relative position to the teams right behind us.
With just 1 hole each left to be played by Salinda and Shimp we are about to end with one of the 4 worst rounds among the top 15 and tied for 3rd with only a 7 stroke cushion over #8. We have to play better the next round. We should also simply declare OSU the stroke champion and move on. The chance of anyone making up 23 strokes on OSU in the final round is, shall we say, very unlikely. The top 8 contain 6 of the top ten ranked teams, but it is more like Oklahoma State and the 7 Dwarfs. Hopefully the final round will result in us playing better and making match play. Beating OSU in any format will remain a significant challenge. I think we need Snyder back for the final round.
