We are back up to a tie for 2nd place with Texas. So it looks like we will be fine regarding our positioning heading into tomorrow. Oklahoma State continues to lap the field, and just dominate the competition.
Pac-12, outside of Stanford of course, is really having a tournament to forget. #2 seeded Arizona State is in deep trouble just to make the three round cut. Cal and SC also battling just to make the Top 15 (let alone Top 8 for match play). SC is only one shot off Top 15 pace, and just starting their round.
Meanwhile, it is a banner tournament for the Big 12 so far.
Cal and SC just make the cut, Cal after posting a +18 to drop 7 slots; SC climbed 8 after going four over. #2 ranked ASU was on the wrong side of the cut line, missing by a single stroke. They are 7 and 8 strokes, respectively from the #8 team. On the flip side, we have a 16 stroke cushion on #9, so we can withstand another bad round, though getting back into form would be preferable.
