Permanent Stanford hero status to Wu and Salinda, both 3-0 in the event.

Salinda was three under, Wu two under, Snyder even, Shimp +2, Daulet +3;
we saved our best for last.

Anyone see Daulet's eagle two?

The most startling championship of my exactly 50 year Stanford fan career.

Given the nature of match play, is it really that startling?  In several of the run up tournaments (PAC-12 and regionals) you predicted we were a near lock to make it to the finals and looked good to make match play.  And if you make match play, anything is possible!

Of course all this was predicated on someone upsetting Oklahoma state, which seemed unlikely.
