So... yesterday's round was:

1) Sandbagging of epic proportions;
2) A genius strategy executed to perfection in order to ensure we would not be on OSU's side of the draw; or
3) Inexplicable?

4) Golf

With all due respect, I'm going with (2).  As not infrequently happens [in many sports], the team that takes down a prohibitive favorite in the SEMI-finals has a tough time getting it together again right away to actually win the whole thing.  Texas [and, certainly, Hammer] looked a little flat.  Not to take anything at all away from our guys, but they had the advantage of being able to still aim for THE peak, while Texas was looking at one  MORE peak.

If we hadn't played our way into 6th on Monday, the roles might very well have been reversed.  Conrad Ray knows what he's doing... :-)
