I love the hybrid format of the championships.
But what amazes me most is that 48 hours ago we weren't sure if Stanford was even going to make it to match play. They were in a complete meltdown and if it weren't for some clutch pars & a few birdies down the stretch they might have been coming home with their tails between their legs on Monday night.
Congrats to Coach Ray and the team. We can worry about next year later. Right now that's a school record-tying SIX nattys this year, and who knows we might not be done yet on that front...
At some point in the future I think there's a worthwhile discussion about the site selection, but for now let's just relish in what was a really amazing championship run that started a few months ago and just kept rolling.
