Is Hill really a starter? Checking Fresno’s stats, it looks like he has 18 appearances and 4 starts. The way Fresno has handled its pitching this entire game has been odd to say the least. Thought they might just be saving guys for tomorrow after we jumped out to an early lead but that theory didn’t make a lot of sense once they tied the score at 4-4. Makes me think they might just not have a lot of quality arms in the pen but not sure.

Sorry. I had thought Hill had the 14 starts, rather than Mitchell (who got the start tonight). My bad. However, Hill does have the fourth most starts on team, so using him in long relief removes the possibility of using him in an if necessary game. However, at this point, we have to get through this inning and game first.
