For those who may know, what's the difference between a softball pitcher and a baseball pitcher? I constantly see softball pitchers pitch in back to back (to back) days, both games of a double-header, etc. UCLA is going to win the championship, in part, to one great pitcher, Garcia, who seems to pitch every inning that they play.
So, why can softball pitchers go game after game while baseball pitchers spring worries about their arms if they are asked to pitch 3 days after pitching 100 pitches?
