It's not clear to me why some folks call this rookie pitcher the Dawg's ace.  
He's their number two starter, and leads the Andromeda Galaxy in wild pitches,
and has allowed eight runs in his last eleven innings.


Ethan Small is the Bulldog's ace, no?

Ethan Small is the Mississippi State ace. He is a battle tested arm that has been in several big time games. He has great command and can really be at his best when his changeup is complementing his fastball.

Ginn has been great all year as well. He entered the season with a ton of hype because he is a first round pick that turned down money. He has lived up to it. That said, he is also a true freshman that has battled tightness in his arm. I think a lot of it is being extremely cautious as Ginn looks to be a top-10 pick next year. I also feel a lot of it is getting acclimated to the demand a "Power 5" pitcher goes through every weekend. Ginn stays around 91-95 and has a true swing and miss pitch with the slider.

If I had to bet, my bet would be you guys see Plumlee on Sunday night. He has been very good lately and is a senior. I think Lemonis will give him the baseball. As for Ginn, my question is will we see him Monday. Nothing has been announced regarding our rotation but that is how I would bet we play it.
