If USC had been able to defend their title from last year it would have been a record-tying 14th NCAA team title in one season for the conference. The last time it happened? The other year Stanford won 6.
Now in order to tie it will have to be either UCLA or Stanford winning in baseball. Gotta get a win in the supers first, though.
