This prompted the following trivia question.  Which pitcher had the worst outing as measured by game score immediately preceding a no-hitter on his next outing?

The answer to the trivia question is Bill Dietrich, who had an ugly start just three days before his 1937 no-hitter. In the earlier game he was blasted for 10 runs in just 3-1/3 innings for a game score of 0 (yes, zero).
