I continue to say, let an athlete take money from n anyone willing to pay - except the school and its boosters, broadly defined. I specifically mean to include professional sports franchises and agents.
I remain baffled why there is any resistance to this. The day someone shows me why family trust money is pure, and sports franchise money is tainted, I'll listen v down.

I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.
