I always thought of the Princeton Offense as an oxymoron, basically a way of saying concentrate on defense. At least that's what it looked like from my seat in the Palestra in the late 70s. Princeton was really good at keeping the score low. A 42-41 game is not all that much fun for the fans taking a study break.
