I said pre-deadline I trusted Farhan. I think he did a terrific job. The Pomerantz trade was remarkable to me. And dumping Melacon’s salary and getting players?  Didn’t think that would happen. I’ve always liked Gennett. Hopefully he helps.

But storm clouds on the horizon. Dickerson on IL. Bats slowing down. And right now it’s “Bum and the Shark and pray it gets dark.”

Apparently today they DFA’d Winkler, one of the pitchers they got for Melancon. I hope that is just roster shenanigans and not anything else.
