Of course, the fact the Nationals swept the Cubs in Wrigley, the Giants at Third and King, and the Cubs swept the Giants at Wrigley, pretty much tells the tale about how deserving the Giants are for a post-season berth.
The Nationals are clearly the best Wild Card team. The Cubs are realistically battling the Mets for the final Wild Card spot. The Cubs play three in New York against the Metropolitans this week. I will be watching, as I have adopted the Mets as my 2nd team to root for in the NL, since I'm in CT and get SNY.
