My favorite memory was the last five mins of regulation in the 2011 triple OT game at U$C. Luck threw a pick six that gave&nbsp;U$C the lead. He then proceeded to methodically slice &amp; dice that same defense in a game-tying drive. In the next few days, I'd read/heard that Luck personally rallied the offense around him after the pick six and in effect told them that not only are they going to march down the field and tie the game but they are going to win it in OT.

</p><p><br></p><p>The other thing I remember about this play was how quickly Luck got over it. Afterwards he said that he was angry after he threw the interception, but then he quickly realized that nothing had changed. Before the interception he had taken the field believing he needed a touchdown; after the interception he still needed a touchdown. In his mind, nothing had changed.</p><p><br></p><p>There are also two other memories I have regarding his leadership. After the field goal was missed at the end of regulation in the Fiesta Bowl, he took a small moment to mourn. The cameras caught him saying, "*****." But then two seconds later he was greeting the field goal team as they came off, doing his best to slap every hand, looking everyone in the eye and refocusing the team.</p><p><br></p><p>Last, there was an obscure play in a regular season game. I only remember the moment because I noticed it while watching and included it in my recap. There was a holding penalty called that negated a big gain. Levine Toilolo was the offending player, and I knew this before the official tagged him because Luck went over to Toilolo immediately and patted him the helmet. At the time is struck me as such a kind gesture. I bet those guys absolutely loved playing with him.<br></p>
