Rouse will stay on the left and Sarell on the right. Powell listed as a backup but per Shaw is doubtful. Lots of frosh move into backup roles on the OL. Next man up. A bit surprised not to see Grant Pease.

QB shows Costello OR Mills. I think many (including me) expect Costello will be held out. But it would be a nice surprise if he is able to play.

I agree about Costello. I'm almost surprised that Shaw was willing to hold that out as a possibility. But my non-medical opinion after diagnosing Costello based on how he looked on my television screen was that he didn't look as bad as some players do after suffering a concussion. We'll see.

I was over the tunnel when he walked out and have to say he seemed to be walking and talking normally and without any obvious distress or disorientation. Watching the replays on TV, it was about as "unintentional" as climbing Mount Everest. In my day, we called that a cheap shot. Today, I understand they call it "targeting." Either way, the refs blew the call. That said, it was a padded forearm to the chin, followed by the helmet to the turf. I'm sure I'd be in the hospital for a month after a hit like that, but it didn't "look" like one of those hard impact shots to the head that more obviously causes a concussion. Call me crazy, but I'm not as convinced as some that he's out this weekend. We'll all know soon enough I suppose.
