Clearly Stanford won the statistical battle. Yea!
I didn't see much of the game, but when looking over the play by play, it appears that even with only half the time of possession, and twice the turnovers, Northwestern was only down by 3 and on our 44 yard line with 4:30 left. Had I been watching, I would have probably been a little queasy, knowing that the Wildcats had just scored on their previous possession.
After the fact, I guess I'm not seeing the total domination the stats show and certainly don't take comfort in them.
