First the complaint is that he didn't take responsibility, and once it was pointed out that he did, in fact, call himself out, the complaint is that he is not self-flagellating hard enough.

It took him THREE WEEKS to say anything about him and his staff being part of the problem, and he did it at the end of a statement. He further dug a hole when he (unbelievably) claimed that the difference in these three games is execution on a handful of plays in each game. A statement like that clearly blames the players, not the coaches.

So no, I'm not letting him off the hook for such a small concession. He and his staff are highly-paid professionals. With rare exception it is always their responsibility first and foremost.
