It took him THREE WEEKS to say anything about him and his staff being part of the problem, and he did it at the end of a statement. He further dug a hole when he (unbelievably) claimed that the difference in these three games is execution on a handful of plays in each game. A statement like that clearly blames the players, not the coaches.
So no, I'm not letting him off the hook for such a small concession. He and his staff are highly-paid professionals. With rare exception it is always their responsibility first and foremost.
