I agree, he was hurting the team on Sat. I heard that Shaw tried to say that Costello was off-the-mark on just two passes. I admire having your guy's back, especially when he pushed himself to play hurt, but he was way off the mark on a number of passes.
Now the question is which band of 18 year-olds will be protecting Mills on Saturday and making holes for Scarlett. Looks like Hamilton has been fully ruled out - not a surprise. I didn't hear about Sarell, but optimistically let's hope he's in (but shaky). Our OL will be 40-60% manned by true freshman on Saturday - Rouse, Miller and possibly Hornibrook. Oof.
Excited to see Mills again, though. There can be a big jump from a first start to a second start. And hoping KJ gets better soon.
