It was 2 season's ago that KJ replaced Chryst and Stanford's offensive production improved. However , following that season, KJ had a surgical procedure (hip?) and I think his mobility last season was not as good as the previous season. This season KJ's play has also revealed a lack of mobility.
KJ out-performed Herbert last year by most measures. I don't think this is a trend. And this year we have a total of ONE HALF on which to judge KJ - the first quarter against NU where the adrenaline was going and he was consistently overthrowing, and the second quarter against NU where he was stellar. Against UCF I think he was suffering from that brutal hit against NU and last week he hurt his thumb on the first drive of the game.
