Halftime chatter--
1. M. Wilson is good! He's the one guy on offense consistently able to make high-degree-of-difficulty plays.
2. Mills has been accurate and shown some poise against an all-or-nothing style of defense that is very intent on getting to the QB. However, his yardage stats have been helped by good running after the catch on these extended handoff passes and screen plays.
3. Can't say enough about this defense. Oregon State has put up some yards, as expected. But blanking them for a half is an impressive accomplishment.
4. Will Stanford score 30? If not today...well there's UCLA, I guess. I'd just like to see either more consistency in the running game or Mills crank up the intermediate passing game. Don't think these screen and quick sideline outs are going to be effective against Washington, for example.

Might blank them for three quarters...team is looking very good.  Scarlett, terrific.  Wilson, Excellent!  Mills, purty darned good.
