We were at the game and we couldn't see why he came off until someone spotted him on the sideline with the ice on the back of his knee/upper calf. I haven't looked at the tape, but it was sad to see as he was having a great game.I made this post earlier today on the game thread:
I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm replaying the UW game yet again. i hadn't noticed before and don't recall it being mentioned here, but Mills went into the medical tent right after Scarlett's touchdown w/ 6:00 left in the third quarter. West started warming up at that point, but when Mills came out, he took a few throws and went back into the game for the entire next possession. But when Kelly makes the interception w/ a little under 11 minutes left in the game, West takes over. In sum, I think I think they were just being cautious. Mills probably noticed something, but the fact that they left him in for a while suggests that he will be available for UCLA.
