My basic issue is that we already have professional leagues. I believe that athletes should be eligible for those leagues right out of high school. If they come to play for any college, they should be ineligible for professional leagues for four years. If the current pay for play model in California becomes national, I believe that we will end up with a handful of teams paying NFL level salaries through boosters, and the rest of college football and basketball will wither and die.
