I count Brodie, Plunkett , Elway and Luck as the four Stanford QB's who had legitimate careers as NFL starting quarterbacks.
And from the University of Alabama came Starr, Namath, Stabler, and Richard Todd, four QB's who were also legitimate starting NFL QB's.
Have I missed any names from Stanford or Alabama ?
Has any other school produced four or more bona fide starting NFL QB's?

University of Miami was(is?) nicknamed Quarterback U in the late 80s/90s.
Kelly, Kosar, Testerverde were the headliners, but many many others got a few starts at the NFL level.  
Those 3 are probably the only bona fide starters so I guess that misses the criteria in this topic.

Kelly, Kosar, and Testatverde put the University of  Miami up there , but Stanford may be number one for producing NFL QB's.
True, many schools have produced QB's who started for a season or two. 
My thinking is that starting for a minimum of 4 or 5 years, for example 50 games or more, qualifies as "bona fide, legitimate career as NFL starting QB".

Don't know or care about Alabama.  

Elway had 231 starts, Brodie had 158 starts, Plunkett had 144 starts, Luck had 86 starts.

Other Stanford QBs, with at least ten NFL starts
Frankie Albert had 68 starts in a 7 year NFL career.  He was legit.
Trent Edwards started 33 of his 38 games
Steve Dils started 27 of 106 games.
Boryla started 19 of his 23 games.
Chad Hutchinson started 14 of his 15 games.
Schonert started 12 of his 72 games.
Kerkorian started 10 of his 23 games.
Stenstrom started 10 of his 17 games.
