Colorado's defense is certainly weak, so that bodes well for some healthy scoring by Costello and Co. We managed 41 points two weeks ago against a similarly weak Arizona defense (at home), so I figure our offense is good for around 34 points (one TD less) at Folsom field. Arizona and USC each managed 35 points against the Buffs in Boulder.
Colorado's offense is a bit more unpredictable. Montez has recently been off, and that has also restricted the production of their versatile receiving-rushing threat, Laviska Shenault. Clearly, the Colorado offense plays better at home, so there could be an uptick, especially against our depleted defense. The Buffs got 3 points against Oregon (at Autzen stadium), 10 at Wazzu and 14 at UCLA, but managed 30 (Arizona), 31 (USC) and 34 (Nebraska) at home. They won only one of those games (Nebraska).
Summing all this up, I think your spread looks good, but I also think more points will be scored. How about 34-30 Cardinal?
The weather should be good (dry and probably in the 60s by kick-off time). That should be positive for the visiting Californians.
