"Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw was his usual even-keeled self in the aftermath of the Cardinal’s 49-22 loss to Washington State Saturday at Martin Stadium in Pullman."
Even-keeled after our worst beat down of the year and fifth loss by 15 or more points this season?!?
Not a fan of Leach, but his tirade last week certainly seemed to get his kids attention. Perhaps an occasional teeny tiny bit of emotion might actually help Shaw. . . .
What are the odds that Coach Shaw will do one of these...?
In situations where a coach has lost it and is turning blue in the face, as a player it's hard not to laugh. There is so much nervous tension. Laughter is a common reaction in this situation. But, you know if you laugh he will completely melt down and single you out. So you try not to make eye contact and reach down and pinch yourself real hard. If you can't hold it back you have to put your hands in your face and act like your crying. I've been in similar situations as a player, but I was never the one that laughed.
It's funny, I didn't see any of the Texas guys looking like they were on the verge of laughter. And they won their next ten in a row. Go figure.
