Mississippi State is quite the defensive team.  They lead 35-25 at the half.  I hope we win a couple of games and get the chance to test them.

Meanwhile, Hebard put up 30 for Oregon today, 13/15 against Oklahoma State.

Addendum

Mississippi State didn't allow SFS to score a basket for 8:30 in the 3rd.  Suffocating defense.  That's enough of that game for me.  At least SFS is going to hold them below their recent average of 125 points.  SFS ran a very slow offense--almost a four corners all out offense.  It slowed the game down some, but they could not score at the end of their long possessions.

Sheeesh. That looked like a completely USF team than the one we played. Against us, USF wanted to run, run, and run, while against Mississippi State, they dribbled at half court with their back to the basket for nearly 10-15 seconds (which resulted in probably 8-10 turnovers itself between over and back calls and push offs). Another 4-5 on shot clock violations. They were desperate to slow the game down instead of playing their own game.

They'll be a good test, but I think we're definitely better.
