Ledecky is the best example of a female athlete who rivals some of the men for earnings.
The point is that almost no female athletes are delusional when they enter college into thinking that their college education is superfluous because of high earnings potentials in their sports. A surprising number of men are. And such men don't wind up at Stanford, since our biggest draw is the quality of the degree.
We are the university for bright, non-delusional athletes :P
