Chiney may be worth $2 million but the WNBA is paying her $119,500.  The top 30 men in the NBA all earn more than $30 million a year.
Ledecky is the best example of a female athlete who rivals some of the men for earnings.

The point is that almost no female athletes are delusional when they enter college into thinking that their college education is superfluous because of high earnings potentials in their sports.  A surprising number of men are.  And such men don't wind up at Stanford, since our biggest draw is the quality of the degree.

We are the university for bright, non-delusional athletes :P

Walsh is still trying to sell me therapy tape, and unfortunately, my 12 year old is buying (if only for a week or two with a sore knee). It's the endorsements, not the earnings, that make the money. With regards to your last comment, that's the Ivies. . . .
