There is so much movement in real time that it is hard to see all the pieces other than the end result like Lexie open for a three or Jones open for a straight line drive. Fran breaks it down and shows how it all comes out of Tara's offense. The offense keeps stressing the defense to the point that something breaks down and we have an open shot. In real time, I thought Jones' drive was just her athleticism or bad defense but Fraschilla shows how it came out of the Princeton and a rejected screen. Fingall's cut drew the player defending her and thus she couldn't help defend Jones who had an uncontested layup. Or if she had, Jones would have passed to Fingall for an easy layup.A great find! And that is just the elbow action. I've found other diagrams/video of the Princeton but how cool is it when your own team is used to model the system!

Have you noticed that other teams are not zoning us quite as much as they have the last two years, which allows us to stay in the Princeton a lot more? I wonder if it is what Jump did to Syracuse that has changed things.
Oregon plays the same zone as Syracuse. I wonder if they will continue to play it to mess up the Princeton or if they will have a different wrinkle for us when we see them.
