Argh.  A sad way to end it, unable to inbound the ball.

Joyner Holmes had some creative defense on that play. She fell down in front of Jump, blocking her progress, then hopped up and stole the inbound pass. Would have been a blocking or tripping foul if Jump hadn't quickly held up to avoid the contact with Holmes not in a legal guarding position.

Just a quibble, of course. Nice win by Texas. Hopefully we can learn a lot from watching the film.

At least there's a lot to learn! First of which is starting off strong so as not to give 'em a 7-0 lead. UT's confidence carried them through this game when fatigue should've kicked in. If you told me we'd have a one-point lead going into the 4th, I'd have bet a good amount of money on a win.
