Argh.  A sad way to end it, unable to inbound the ball.

Joyner Holmes had some creative defense on that play. She fell down in front of Jump, blocking her progress, then hopped up and stole the inbound pass. Would have been a blocking or tripping foul if Jump hadn't quickly held up to avoid the contact with Holmes not in a legal guarding position.

Just a quibble, of course. Nice win by Texas. Hopefully we can learn a lot from watching the film.

joyner holmes was creative earlier as well. flopped down (untouched) in excruciating pain, stopping the flow of the strong stanford comeback at +1; then returned 5 minutes later in no distress at all, not even taped.

texas a&m did the same thing to us in that unfortunate NCAA national semi-final.
