Is the Heidelberg Beer Garten still around? No. How about Kirks? Yes but moved to Town and Country Village from its California Ave location (I suspect the Cal Ave. land was too valuable for just a restaurant.)

A restaurant (Zareen's ?) plus a Starbucks occupy the space where Kirk's was, more or less. The gravel area with picnic tables just wasn't revenue dense enough. The counter is next door, maybe took a few feet of Kirk's space. I don't consider this an upgrade. Kirk's building had to go, but the new ones aren't remarkable.
