Lots of good spots in PA have closed and been replaced by upscale, trendy spots that are lacking soul. Zott’s, the Goose and the Palo Alto Creamery still carry the flag for the old days.

Opa! has several Bay Area branches including thriving spots in Campbell and Los Gatos. I like ‘em both but ... crowded.
