Louie's was well known to me (in Texas at the time) in the mid 70s because of that, but not my style of food. That list was why I went to Kirk's when I first came to Silicon Valley in 79.
During the 80s and 90s, I used to eat the roast beef sandwich at the Cheese House most weekday lunches. (That was an industrious family that ran it, led by a really sweet grandmother. You always got the biggest sandwiches when she did your order. I hope they are doing well.) After 2007, it was still ok but not wonderful enough to make the trip. It has been quite a while since I was there, but I am really sorry to see it go though.
Following the demise of the original Applewood Pizza in Menlo Park 1983-2018, the original Round Table Pizza location closed in Menlo Park in 2019 after 60 years. (Regarding Su Hongs, the Menlo Park restaurant location closed some time back (and gone through several restaurants since then); the to-go location behind it changed hands a couple of years ago; the spin-off restaurant in Palo Alto closed a couple of months ago and is now open again under a different name.)
Pretty sure the MP Round Table is still open...
