I think reasonable ambitions for this team are:
1) Finish in the top-3 in the (stacked) Pac-12
2) Make it to the elite eight

Anything above that would be gravy!

For this year, given the Carrington/Dodson situation, this makes sense to me. Of course, we want more for the players (and the fans), but the Pac-12 is indeed stacked. And a result like this would really lay a foundation for next year. If this is the way it goes, I want to see both the Oregon schools in the final four and one of them take it all. But we'll see. In the meantime, I'm heading to Eugene and Corvallis next week to see how we do. Two years ago I went, with limited expectations, and the Card took down both Oregon schools on their home courts. Of course, those were the games in which Carrington closed out OSU at the end of the game and McPhee went on a tear against Oregon. One can hope for another sort of totally off the charts game from someone again. One can hope.
