The guy on this YouTube channel does All 22 video breakdowns after every Niners game. His video analyzing the runs employed against the Packers in the NFC Championship game is frankly mesmerizing. It almost makes you think Shanahan is slowly building his schematic mastery to culminate in a prolific offensive explosion in the Super Bowl.
The Niners have run on an absurd 75% of their offensive snaps through two playoff games. It's so unnerving that many football pundits are bought in to questioning Garoppolo as a result. Of course, the Niners have play action passes set up off all those runs. When throws start coming off what were runs against the Vikings and Packers, Chiefs defenders will become confused about what their eyes see and be hesitant in their reactions.

Wait. You mean to tell me that Stanford's power running game isn't akin to what the 'Niners do?
Okay, sarcasm aside - the two running games are not comparable. Lex probably thinks that's fine - that Stanford's (telegraphed) power running game is good enough for Stanford. I disagree. Give me an offense that keeps the D on its heels and uncertain/hesitant, and you're pretty far down the road of "very good offense."
That is one unnerving analysis. Would love to see Stanford's running game do that.
