Back in the early 1980s, I lived off campus during my last two years at Stanford, and I used to dine on occasion at University Avenue restaurants. Was very sad when I visited in the early 2000s only to learn that the Good Earth had closed.

There was a Good Earth by SCU as well.  Honestly, I didn't miss it when it closed, and my family owned a health food store.
