That feels like the elephant in the room to me. We have 5 starters and...not much else, really. In years past we could rely on guys like Marcus Sheffield or a younger Oscar Da Silva to provide a spark off the bench. None of the next men up in our rotation (Delaire, Kisunas, White, Keefe) can really do that, as far as I can tell. Our starters are now known quantities that have plenty of film to prepare against, and when the first couple options get defended properly it seems the team just gets hesitant and doesn't know what to do.
On the bright side, the entire team comes back next year. And we've already matched last year's win total, even with the current 3-game losing streak.
Apparently, two of the incoming freshmen can really shoot it. And the post player looks like he has game. We simply need more scoring options. My guess is we'll have it next year. Alas, we'll have to wait to find out.
