Yeah, having 84 or 85 guys on scholarship is much better than we have had, but we should really be aiming for one or two of those guys to be former walk-one, not four or five.

IMO the distinction here should be if said former walk-ons are legitimate contributors (Brycen Tremayne caught 3 TDs, returned a blocked punt for a TD, and played a ton of STs for example...so he may as well be a scholarship WR), or if they just earned a scholarship due to other reasons/lack of other options (not gonna name names but you get the point).

I never did understand why we wanted to move Fox to OLB.

Fox came in at 6'4" 240. I don't think it felt realistic for him to add 45 pounds. Plus he already showed flashes of being able to effectively rush the passer off the edge, which was (and still is) sorely needed on this defense. 

Note that he's now listed at 252, which is a near-ideal weight for an OLB in a nickel-base defense. The NFL "EDGE" position is full of guys weighing anywhere from 250-265.
