Not quite true. The Bay Area counties issued their shelter in place order on March 16, effective March 17.
The number of daily new cases in SCC fell more than 50 percent from March 24 to March 26.
Statistical glitch? Can't be sure yet, but this is the day I was expecting the drop.
While I haven't looked at the other Bay Area counties, I expect they will fall. The state was about 3 days later, so that will kick in Monday. Many other states followed suit, and they'll kick in too.
No way are we (SCC) over this, but we can see the difference our common sacrifice is making.
